Special Conditions of Sale Relating to Firearms -
Modern, Curio and Relic Firearms: A department of Justice Dealer Record of sale
(D.R.O.S.) form must be completed for all firearms manufactured after 1898. The
mandatory D.R.O.S. processing fee is payable by personal check or cash to Greg
Martin Auctions. The fee is as follows:

Curio or Relic firearm. Both Curio and Relic longarms and hand guns require state
and federal registration, fees will apply. For detailed information refer to the

which requires both state and federal registration.

- Waiting
Period: Beginning December 1, 1998 state law requires a 10 day waiting period
for ALL longarms and handguns manufactured after 1898. In addition, purchasers
of firearms classified by the Federal Government as Modern, Curio or Relic must
complete a Federal 4473 registration form. This form carries no fees. Due to recent
changes in state law the Curio and Relic Federal Firearms License has become obsolete
in the state of California.
- New CA Law Limiting Handgun Purchases:
Pursuant to Assembly Bill 202, Commencing January 1, 2000, No person shall make
an application to purchase more than one pistol, revolver, or other firearm capable
of being concealed upon the person within any 30-day period. For questions regarding

- New SF Laws Requiring Gun Locks: Effective January 1, 1997,
the City of San Francisco requires any buyer who does not have a valid FFL License,
to have in their possession a gun lock with key for every modern firearm and Curio
or Relic. You may either:
-Supply your own gun lock with key (one gun lock per
weapon) or Purchase a gun lock with key from Greg Martin Auctions at a cost of
$7.50 at the time of purchase. Greg Martin Auctions cannot release any weapons
to non-FFL dealers without the buyer
presenting gun locks for all applicable weapons. - Payment of Charges. All
delivery, shipping and storage must be paid by the successful bidder prior to
delivery of the firearm.

or representations whatsoever, and no employee of Greg Martin Auctions has the
authority to do otherwise, concerning the fitness for use, safety to fire or store,
or reliability, of any firearm, ammunition, or parts or components thereof, whether
antique or modern.

12088.1. Effective January 1, 2002: (a) All firearms sold or transferred in this
state by a licensed firearms dealer, including private transfers through a dealer,
and all firearms manufactured in this state, shall include or be accompanied by
a firearms safety device that is listed on the Department of Justice's roster
of approved firearms safety devices.
(b) All firearms sold or transferred in
this state by a licensed firearms dealer, including private transfers through
a dealer, and all firearms manufactured in this state shall be accompanied with
warning language or labels as described in Section 12088.3 (c) The sale or
transfer of a firearm shall be exempt from subdivision (a) if both of the following
apply: (1) The purchaser of transferee owns a gun safe that meets the standards
set forth in Section 12088.2. Gun safes shall not be required to be tested, and
therefore may meet the standards without appearing on the Department of Justice
roster. (2) The purchaser or transferee presents an original receipt for purchase
of the gun safe, or other proof of purchase or ownership of the gun safe as authorized
by the Attorney General, to the firearms dealer. The dealer shall maintain a copy
of the receipt or proof of purchase with the dealer's record of sales of firearms. (d)
The sale or transfer of a firearm will be exempt from subdivision (a) if all of
the following apply: (1) The purchaser of transferee purchases an approved
safety device no more than 30 days prior to the day the purchaser or transferee
takes possession of the firearm. (2) The purchaser or transferee presents the
approved safety device to the firearms dealer when picking up the firearm. (3)
The purchaser or transferee presents an original receipt to the firearms dealer
which shows the date of purchase, the name, and the model number of the safety
device. (4) The firearms dealer verifies that the requirements in (1) and (3),
inclusive, have to been satisfied. (5) The firearms dealer maintains a copy
of the receipt along with the dealers' record of sales of firearms.
