Serial no. E27. .36 percussion caliber. 7 1/2-inch barrel. Blued finish. White metal frame. Case-hardened loading lever, frame and hammer. Brass triggerguard and backstrap. Backstrap with presentation inscription reading: Presented To:/Roger B. Dakin/By the Maker. Varnished burl walnut grips. Barrel, cylinder, frame and triggerguard with fine floral scroll engraving. Right side of barrel lug inscribed: Made in Italy/GU. Sold together with lined case and accessories. Antique cap tin. A unique and quality reproduction. Also sold with a single page research document about Richard Dakin, President and owner of the Dakin Gun Company of San Francisco.
