rib. Bead front sight. Stamped PS and JG on bottom of barrels at breech. V on
bottom of lug between barrels. GH within diamond motif on top of watertable,
along with serial number and patent markings. Full choke to both barrels.
Blued, with case-hardened receiver. Scroll engraving, with three panels of game
birds on frame and floorplate. Made without safety. Straight English stock,
with darker than normal wood. Automatic ejectors. Splinter forend. Checkered and varnished walnut straight stocks;
double triggers. Doghead-style checkered buttplate; shield-shaped escutcheon
inlaid on bottom of stock.
Condition:
Fine; 95% blue on barrels; some fading and gray patina. 50% case-hardening; 20%
blue on floorplate and triggerguard; gray patina to forend mounts. Fine bores.

Condition: Fine; 90% blue, fading; light scratches. Book excellent, and numbered and signed by
authors. Stand excellent. Pistol pictured and described in Wayner R. Erickson
and Charles E. Pate, THE BROOMHANDLE PISTOL 1896-1936, page 219. Only one of

release to checkered walnut forend; finely engraved breech with leaves, scrolls
and borders, and with panel scenes of wild boar, red stag, wolf and roe deer.
Most mounts finely engraved with scrolls, leaves and borders. Double triggers,
the front (for rifle barrel and for right shotgun barrel), with set screw.
Browned barrel; gray finished breech, triggerguard, locks, shotgun style
buttplate and forend mount, as well as lid to cartridge compartment on bottom
of buttstock. Monogram engraved on oval German silver stock escutcheon.
Trap-Door Butt Stock with door ammunition reservoir and checkered wrist and
crescent cheekpiece. Sling swivels with adjustable leather sling.
