Catalogs

Fully illustrated catalogs are available for each auction, both in print and online versions. You can view the free online catalog by clicking the "online catalog" button at the top of this page. In the catalog, GMA experts will provide descriptions and auction estimates for each lot in the sale, whether that lot contains a single item or a group of items that will be sold together. Previews

Greg Martin Auctions previews take place in both San Francisco and New York City before every sale. GMA staff will be present on both coasts to answer questions and encourage collectors to inspect individual lots. Condition Reports are available in person, by telephone and online. GMA’s expert assessment is an important indicator of value and desirability.

Estimates

GMA’s assessment of an individual lot's value in the current market is always expressed in a range of figures (e.g. $4,000/6,000). However due to many factors, changing market conditions and/or competition among bidders, estimates are not always a true indicator of the final selling price.

Buyer’s Premium

The Buyer shall pay a Buyer's Premium, of 15.0% of the Hammer price, which shall be retained by us.

Payment

Please pay for purchases within seven (7) days of the sale, either by cash, pre-approved personal check, money order or wire transfer. We do not accept credit cards for payment of property.

Packing and Shipping - Domestic

Purchases will incur a packing charge of $10 for handguns (pistols), $15 for long guns (carbines, rifles, muskets), and $15 for miscellaneous (knives, swords, armor). Insurance and shipping charges will be the responsibility of the purchaser. Greg Martin Auctions uses FedEx for shipping. All non-arms and armor purchases will be directed to a packing and shipping company upon the Buyer's direction and expense.

Packing and Shipping - International

GMA cannot provide packing and shipping services for international clients. Shipments of this type are at the risk and expense of the buyer. International clients are responsible for all packing and shipping charges, as well as any customs fees or taxes. Please contact the office for more information.
